Supporting Our Mental Health Community: What kind of silence do you carry with you every day? How much energy does it take out of you?

In some situations, silence is good as it gives you time to reflect and reposition your mindset to move forward positively; you can develop strategies more effectively for whatever presented situation because your brain is not operating a thousand miles a minute and crashing before your eyes.
Other types of silence may not be as engaging. For example, you are giving silence to someone who upset you, or made you angry, or a disappointing situation happens, and you fall silent for quite a while.
What happens with all this silence is that you experience less than useful energy which becomes negative energy, and, respectfully, it can affect your brain health. If the brain is not happy and calm, then neither is your body as a whole. So, practice silence at times that warrant you needing time to reflect and gather a more strategic comeback. Break the silence when you have all your faculties working properly and your brain defensive mechanisms will thank you.
