Finding Inner Peace

Inner peace is basically the experience you have had and will continue to have plus how you choose to delegate them to a place where it allows you to feel free; uninhibited. Begin the path to finding inner peace by building a mind frame of solace. Surround yourself with items that have a calming effect. Create a surrounding designed to your characteristics and ideals. People can also play a role in this calming effect but choosing this mode will not allow you to just be free of toxicity and noise.

Once you have created your unique surrounding remember to visualize it while you are away and that there may be situations that run high leaving you feeling out of control or the situation you feel is controlling you. Also, find Bible passages that help you understand where you are and what to appreciate. Accept the realness of the world you live in (home, work, other) and practice your mind frame of knowing who you are, what you cannot change; but what you can change in you.

It’s easy to get involved in situations that we should not and before you know it our minds are filled with all kinds of non-productive thoughts which become trash you need to dump. If interested, sample this mindset and that which follows below each day to help you define your inner peace.

L-love yourself. Not loving yourself takes away your ability to find and keep inner peace.

A- accept life’s ups & downs because you know they will always exist. Handle only what you know you can.

U- unleash the negative trash that binds to you and tries to make you part of its drama.

G- give gratefully and acknowledge that which is provided by God. My favorites are John 16:33, Isaiah 46:9-11, and Romans 12:18 NLT. Look them up.

H- house your spirit in a humble (non-arrogant, boastful) perspective. Do not lose sight of where you’ve been, where you are now, and where you will be soon.

Laugh more and begin your life transformation to finding inner peace.
