Coming Back from...A Multifaceted Conundrum

Updated: Sep 1, 2025

Coming back from… Now you can fill in the rest of this sentence with whatever comes to mind. In this setting I have decided to fill in the sentence with the word “failure.” And the word “failure” can be attached to just about anything regarding life experiences and experimentation's.Coming back from some type of failure is THE way to go.I state this because when you feel like there is just no coming back from something you expected to happen…understand why it happened and review what your expectations were.

Were your expectations manageable, doable or were your expectations set too high (out of an obtainable range)? Did you happen to account for variables that could possibly cause a less than optimum outcome? If this is or was the case for you…don’t just throw in the towel unless you know for certain you will not recover.

As it may, know that you can recover from failure; it’s just how you choose to do it that brings you a release and hunger to move forward doing something else; feeling something else; letting go of any embarrassment or kicking yourself where the sun doesn’t shine about it. Take another evaluation of your handling process to see where you may have made errors or did not trim back enough for unexpected casualties. Place emphasis on your efforts and know that coming back from some type of failure should be looked at as a positive outcome. It does not mean you failed per se but that you hopefully learned something from the situation that will make you stronger.

From my experience as a life coach, STRONGER the areas of these four tools:

1. Thinking

2. Planning

3. Communications

4. Processing

These four mindfully strategic tools are comparable and work in all areas of life (work, home, relationships, etc.) So, make a comeback from failure no matter where it hails from. It may mean you have to try to do something new; fresh. But don’t let one failure or a few failures stop you; let these failures motivate you and evoke you to where you know you desire to be and should be. Overcome the conundrums.
